Lorraine Barber established Wincombe Payrolls in 2022 to meet the growing need for bespoke, outsourced payroll services with a personal touch. She worked for many years as Payroll Manager in large corporate environments. However, finding the move towards automation and away from contact with the service provider both challenging and frustrating, she saw a gap. Lorraine wanted to become a payroll provider with a difference for UK businesses.

Her team is just as dedicated: because making sure your employees and HMRC get paid on time, every time – and correctly – is crucial for your business.
We’re based in Bournemouth, Dorset, but work with our clients throughout the country. We can meet with you in person if you are based within the Dorset area, or by arrangement, if that’s how you prefer to work. However, as we work with secure, HMRC-approved cloud-based software we don’t need to be local to work with you.
